The 10th generation Honda Civic is all set to make its debut in India next month. The Japanese carmaker has started accepting bookings for the new Civic while the launch is on the 7th of March. Customers can pre-book the new gen Honda Civic across all the authorised Honda dealerships in the country with a booking amount of Rs. 31,000/-.
The Honda Civic is the carmaker's longest running automotive nameplate and they have sold more than 25 million units across the world. The 10th gen Civic will be offered in India with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol 1.8-litre i-VTEC engine will be available with a CVT automatic transmission only and the 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel engine will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The sedan will be loaded with features such as LED headlights, rain sensing wipers, 8-way electrically adjustable seats, sunroof, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Watch Camera, dual-zone climate control system, 6 airbags, electric parking brake, etc. The new Honda Civic will compete with the likes of the Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla and Hyundai Elantra.
