SsangYong has revealed the new generation Korando that will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show

The South Korean carmaker and the subsidiary of Mahindra, SsangYong has come up with their new generation Korando SUV. This new iteration will make its debut at the upcoming 2019 Geneva Motor. The new SUV comes with substantial cosmetic changes on the exterior as well as interior and it will come with new engine options as well.

The new Korando looks inspired by the new Rexton which is sold as Alturas in India. The front profile comes with a similar styling but a bit more youthful design. The car gets full-LED headlights and tail lights. The new diamond cut alloys look attractive. The interiors get premium design elements and it is based on the new Blaze Cockpit design language according to SsangYong.

There is a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with a 9-inch all-digital instrument cluster. The new Korando will get 550-litres of boot space and an optional powered tailgate. The Korean carmaker will be offering the new Korando with a new 1.6-litre turbo diesel engine options. The safety kit will include a lot of new driver assistance systems.
