Suzuki has started accepting bookings for the new Hayabusa in India that comes with mechanical and cosmetic changes.
The 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa is open for bookings in India across all Suzuki dealerships in the country. The booking amount for the new Hayabusa is Rs. 1 lakh. Keeping in mind the huge fan following of the Hayabusa, Suzuki is expecting some serious numbers with the new version in India this time around.
The Japanese superbike will be available in India in two colour options including grey and black with dual tone aesthetics to make it look fresh. In terms of styling, there are hardly any noticeable changes on the bike. The Hayabusa comes with new tech including riding modes and Brembo brakes along with a slew of other latest hardware.
Powering the 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa is a 1349cc, in-line four cylinder engine that produces 199.7 HP and 155 Nm, mated to this engine is a 6-speed gearbox. This bike will be imported to the Indian market via the CKD route and will be assembled in the company's Gurgaon plant. The deliveries are expected to begin from January 2019.
The new Hayabusa is priced at Rs. 13.59 lakhs (ex-showroom). The price is quite aggressive thanks to the CKD assembly. The Suzuki Hayabusa competes with the likes of Kawasaki ZX-14R in India.
