Toyota has revealed the new generation Hiace MPV

Toyota has taken the wraps off the sixth generation Hiace MPV. The new Hiace made its debut in Philippines, which is its first market. The new MPV is available in two options - Normal/Standard Roof and Long/High Roof. It might be possible that Toyota considers introducing the new gen Hiace to India considering the new import norms of the country.

The styling has been updated and now the Hiace looks a bit more modern and fresh with its sharper and more angular design language. The interior has been revised as well and it looks airy with the dual tone treatment on the dashboard. It also comes with an Innova borrowed steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment system.

The Normal variant of the Hiace is 5265 mm long while the Long variant is 5915 mm long. Even the wheelbase is varying with the former coming with 3210 mm wheelbase and the latter coming with 3860 mm wheelbase. The overall dimensions have increased over the previous gen Hiace. It comes with a 3.5-litre petrol and 2.8-litre diesel engine options. It can seat up to 17 people.
