Audi India has launched the 2020 RS7 Sportback at a sticker price of Rs 1.94 Crores (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. It will be the fourth BS6 compliant model in Audi's portfolio in India after A6, A8L and Q8. The 2020 Audi RS7 Sportback will take on the likes of Mercedes-AMG E63 S and BMW M5 Competition in the Indian market. The four-door high performance coupe's USP lies under its bonnet in the form of the 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech which belts out a massive power output of 600bhp and torque performance of 800Nm.

As far as styling is concerned, the 2020 Audi RS7 Sportback flaunts a single frame front grille with black glossing and honeycomb finish. In addition, the performance oriented coupe features Matrix adaptive LED headlamps, huge air intakes and a refreshed front bumper. The ground clearance has been reduced as compared to the regular A7 sedan while the front and rear tracks are also broader. Riding on 21-inch alloy wheels as standard and 22-inch as optional, the 2020 RS7 Sportback boasts of a LED tail lamp cluster and an electronically operated rear spoiler which opens up at speeds beyond 100kmph. The rear bumper is also new and it lends the much needed RS touch to the oval-shaped exhaust pipes.

The cabin of RS7 Sportback takes a lot of inspiration from the A7 sedan as it gets the same Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, heads-up display and twin-touchscreen setup. The upholstery is finished in Alcantara leather and there are a lot of RS elements present in the form of the flat-bottom steering wheel, aluminium paddle shifters and sport seats. Mechanically, as told before, the 4.0L engine is at the helm of affairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The RS7 Sportback does a 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.6 seconds while clocking an electronically top speed of 250kmph. Though, buyers opting for Dynamic and Dynamic Plus packages can have the top speeds of 280kmph and 305kmph, respectively. The cylinder-deactivation technology is also offered as standard.
