General Motors has revealed the 2020 model year of the Chevrolet Silverado that goes on sale in the international market from February 2019.
All-new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD revealed, which is set for its launch in February 2019 in the international markets. According to the carmaker, it is the most advanced Silverado HD yet. The new Silverado's assembly will be taking place at General Motors' Flint plant in Michigan.
The Silverado HD is often compared with the Silverado 1500 which is a completely different pickup truck apart from the fact that they both share the same roof. The Silverado HD gets additional 3 inches of legroom along with being taller and more comfortable to make the cabin more spacious for the crew cab models.
The new Chevrolet Silverado will come with advanced towing technologies to improve towing abilities and includes new features such as the integrated Bedstep, which makes it easier to access the bed while pulling a fifth-wheel trailer.
GM is offering the Silverado HD with both petrol and diesel engine options. The diesel variant gets a Duramax V8 turbo diesel engine which is good for 1233 Nm of torque and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
