2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift is available in two trim levels: GL (O) and GLS

Hyundai India has launched the 2020 Tucson facelift at a sticker price of Rs 22.30 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo in February, it was launched digitally through the company's Virtual World #TheNextDimension program. The 2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift comes with several styling updates and new features while powered by a set of BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. It will take on the likes of Jeep Compass, Skoda Karoq and Honda CR-V in the Indian market.

Being a mid-cycle facelift, the 2020 Tucson facelift flaunts a bigger iteration of the signature 'Cascading' chrome grille upfront with new Penta LED projector headlamps. The front bumper has been revised too while the SUV rides on 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It boasts of a redesigned LED tail-lamp cluster, dual chrome exhaust pipes and tweaked bumper at the rear end. The cabin is finished in an all-black theme with a leather stitched dashboard. It comes with a plethora of first-in-segment features such as Power adjustable front seats (Passenger – 8 Way, Driver -10 way), Infinity premium sound system with 8 Speakers, Hands free power tailgate & Wireless charger to name a few.

Some other premium features include Panoramic sunroof, Dual-Zone FATC with rear AC vents and Electronic parking brake. The key highlight is the floating 20.32cm HD touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Voice Recognition. The SUV gets the first-in-segment Hyundai BlueLink Connected Car Technology which allows to remotely Lock /unlock & even start the Engine/AC using smartphone/smart watch. As for safety features, the 2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift gets 6 airbags, Intelligent Traction Control with ESC & VSM, Hill-assist for Ascent & decent, newly introduced TPMS & Electronic parking brakes to name a few. The SUV is offered with Hyundai Premium Assurance Program (HPAP) and Wonder Warranty (Up to 5 Year). For those asking, HPAP offers 3 years/30,000 kms free maintenance, Blue Link/Map Subscription, Roadside Assistance and Premium Care Visit.

Mechanically, the 2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift is available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims. Both the 2.0L engines with the pre-facelift model have been retained, albeit with BS6 update. The petrol variants deliver a top power of 150bhp and peak torque of 192Nm while linked to a 6-speed automatic gearbox as standard. The diesel variants come with maximum power output of 182bhp and highest torque performance of 400Nm. They will be available with a new 8-speed automatic transmission in place of the 6-speed unit. The range-topping GLS trim in diesel will be available with the HTRAC 4WD system, Advanced Traction Cornering Control and Drive Modes. Below is the 2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift price (variant-wise):
