2020 New-Gen Audi RS7 Sportback deliveries are expected to start from August onwards.

Audi India has announced the launch of the second-gen RS7 Sportback on July 16, 2020 in the country. The bookings for the high-performance sedan started a couple of weeks back at a token amount of Rs 10 Lakhs at all the Audi dealerships while the deliveries are expected to start from August onwards. The 2020 second-gen Audi RS7 Sportback will be the fourth model to go on sale in India from the German luxury automaker's product portfolio after A6, A8 and Q8. It will compete with the likes of BMW M5 and Mercedes-AMG E63 S in the Indian market.

The 2020 Audi RS7 Sportback is the performance-oriented avatar of the A7 four-door coupe. The sedan flaunts a huge grille and air dams at the front fascia while the rear end boasts of a diffuser and dual oval-shaped exhaust pipes. It is wider than the regular A7 and rides on 21-inch alloy wheels. Though, the RS7 Sportback can also be availed with 22-inch wheels as option. It is being learnt that the high-end sedan will come with numerous customization options. The cabin is inspired by the new-age Audi cars with a dual touchscreen system at the centre console. The new-gen Audi RS7 Sportback retains the Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster with several other features like RS flat-bottom steering wheel, paddle shifters, aluminium pedals and Alcantara upholstery.

Under the bonnet, the sedan will have a BS6 compliant 4.0L twin turbo V8 petrol engine which belts out a massive 600bhp and 800Nm. The engine is linked to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission with Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system. The cylinder deactivation technology and 48V mild hybrid system are also offered as standard fitments. The RS7 Sportback does a 0-100kmph sprint in merely 3.6 seconds. Audi will retail the RS7 Sportback as CBU while it is expected to attract a sticker price in excess of Rs 1.5 Crores (Ex. Showroom). Stay tuned to this page for more updates!
