Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch the new-gen Thar on October 2, 2020 in the Indian market. While the launch is still a fortnight away, the company has revealed the list of exterior and interior accessories of the keenly-awaited SUV. The new-gen 2020 Mahindra Thar will come with a plethora of aftermarket accessories as revealed by the brochure. Just so you know, the 2020 Thar had its world premiere on August 15, 2020 - the Independence Day in India - in two avatars: Adventure (AX) & Lifestyle (LX).
Mahindra Thar Exterior Accessories
The company is offering a myriad of exterior accessories such as Front grille add on, Front bumper cladding, Front bumper air damper, Headlamp appliqué, Wheel arch cladding, ORVM appliqués, Side and black shoulder appliqués, Tail Lamp appliqués and Chrome and black colour appliqués on headlamps. Several other exterior accessories include Body Side Decal with 1 year warranty, LED DRLs for AX and AX (O), 18-inch Alloy Wheels Ring Protector, Door visor with chrome insert, Side door cladding, Plastic foot step, Bug deflector, Keyless entry for AX Series, Flap mudguards for AX Series, Full body cover and Half body cover.
Mahindra Thar Interior Accessories
Coming to the interior accessories, the company has offered a slew of options for the Thar lovers. They include Seat covers, Designer floor mats, Magnetic sunshade for windows, Steering wheel cover, Scuff plates, Remote key for AX Series, Full floor lamination, Parking camera and Extra speakers for the second-row passengers in AX Series.
Mahindra Thar features will include automatic climate control, tilt adjustable steering, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, height adjustable driver’s seat, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. As far as safety features are concerned, it will have dual front airbags, rear parking sensors with electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, roll over mitigation etc. to name a few. Mechanically, the SUV will be available with a set of BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. Mahindra Thar, for the first time in its life cycle, will boast of an automatic transmission while an all-wheel-drive system will also be there.
