2020 Nissan Kicks BS6 is equipped with the most powerful engine in its segment.

Nissan India has launched the 2020 Kicks BS6 at a starting price of Rs 9.49 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. The new iteration of the SUV is equipped with the most powerful engine in its segment. The 2020 Nissan Kicks BS6 has been presented in a total of 7 variants including 2 options in automatic. There are a total of four trim levels: XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O). It will take on the likes of Renault Captur, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Jeep Compass in the Indian market.

The Nissan Kicks 2020 is available in 6 Monotone Colour Options: Blade Silver, Night Shade, Bronze Grey, Fire Red, Pearl White, Deep Blue Pearl; and 3 dual-tone colour options: Bronze Grey with Amber Orange, Fire Red with Onyx Black and Pearl White with Onyx Black. As for features, the 2020 Kicks BS6 gets vehicle stability management system, electronic stability control, traction control system, and a hill start assist, and cruise control. The SUV's 1.3L turbo manual and CVT variants are the most competitive in the segment at Rs 11.84 Lakhs and Rs 13.44 Lakhs, respectively.

The deliveries of the new Kicks are expected to start in by next week as it has already reached dealerships.

Besides the 1.5L petrol engine, it debuts the BS6 compliant 1.3L turbocharged engine which churns out 154bhp and 254Nm while available with both manual and CVT automatic gearboxes. The engine borrows cylinder coating technology from Nissan GTR for enhanced performance while the new X-tronic CVT unit is 40 per cent more efficient than existing CVTs. Nissan Kicks 2020 BS6 will also come with a standard 2 years/50,000 kms warranty which can be extended up to 5 years/100,000 kms by paying extra premium. It comes with a free Road-Side Assistance subscription for 2 years available in more than 1500 cities. The Japanese automaker is also offering a pre-paid maintenance service package at an attractive price starting, Rs 2099 per year.
