The Tokyo motor show will see Suzuki unveil its all-electric convertible off-roader concept.

The company’s e-Survivor concept is a small, tough, convertible SUV, and it will be shown at the Tokyo motor show in October. The e-Survivor is all-electric and it will feature an electric motor inside all four wheels, giving it electric four-wheel drive.

The concepts high ground clearance, huge wheel arches and almost nonexistent overhangs suggest serious off-road cred. The company claims that thanks to its light weight construction it can perform even better on different terrain. The concept features a two-seat layout and is more of a future projection of mobility.

The concept continues to have a steering wheel and driver controls, suggesting that Suzuki predicts full autonomy will not reach this area of the market. The stand will show other minicar and kei Car concepts, all destined for the Japanese market.
