Porsche has revealed the new generation 911 Cabriolet that gets significant changes over its predecessor

The 2020 Porsche 911 Cabriolet has been revealed soon after the debut of the coupe version a couple of months back. While the design language remains unchanged, which is typical Porsche, the Cabriolet gets small yet significant tweaks to make it look fresh. The rear LED tail light bar looks sharp, there are shiny new multi-spoke alloys that look attractive while the rest of the car has a familiar styling.

The interior too looks more or less the same as the coupe version. The dashboard also looks very familiar to the coupe version and it looks quite elegant, taking inspiration from the iconic Porsche 911. The instrument cluster is a mix analoge and digital unit. The soft top roof gets a lightweight structure and features integrated glass rear window.

The soft top roof can now open and close faster than the outgoing model. It takes 12 seconds to close or open and you can do so at speeds up to 50 km/hr. The 911 Cabriolet will be offered in Carrera S and Carrera 4S variants. It will be powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine that produces 443 HP and 530 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/hr takes 3.7 seconds while the top speed is 306 km/hr.
