2020 Triumph Tiger 900 Bookings Start at Rs 50,000

2020 Triumph Tiger 900 will be available in three variants: Rally Pro, Rally and GT.

Triumph Motorcycles India has officially commenced the bookings for the 2020 Tiger 900 at a token amount of Rs 50,000 in the country. Originally scheduled to launch during this month, it will be now launched in June 2020. The 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 can be booked online at http://tiger-900.triumphmotorcyclesindia.com/ and across all Triumph dealerships. The new motorcycle will be available in three variants: Rally Pro, Rally and GT. The Rally pro will be the top-end trim loaded with multiple rider modes and customization options, while the entry-level GT trim will have low seat height.

Speaking on the announcement, Mr. Shoeb Farooq, Business Head - Triumph Motorcycles India said: “The Triumph Tiger has an incredibly rich history, with a bloodline of dedicated off-road models spanning the last 80+ years. It has played a significant role in establishing the premium adventure segment in the country, a niche that Triumph motorcycles helms. With the all-new Tiger 900, we want to set new benchmarks in the segment and transform every ride for maximum adventure." The company dealerships have started reopening gradually following the lockdown period with an SOP to ensure social distancing and hygiene norms. All motorcycles will be sanitized before test rides and dealership visits will be aligned only on booking a prior appointment.

He further added, “While the idea was to launch the Tiger 900 in May, but it will now come only in June. Looking at the anticipation and response from the customers we decided to open the pre-bookings, so as to be able to service the first set of customers.  With the opening of pre-bookings today, we look forward to welcoming more customers in the Triumph family; customers can now book the world’s longest-running adventure motorcycle before it hits the Indian shores either online or by visiting their nearest Triumph dealership.” Triumph Tiger 900 will be powered by a BS6 compliant engine. The company has already initiated home test rides & home deliveries of bikes keeping aligned with the social distancing norms recommended by the Government.
