2021 Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660 Prices Leaked Ahead of Launch

Bookings for both Aprilia RS 660 and Aprilia Tuono 660 have already begun at various dealerships in the country.

2021 Aprilia RS 660 price is expected to start from Rs 13.39 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). Apart from RS 660, Aprilia Tuono 660 is learnt to be launching at a price of Rs 13.09 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). Both the prices of the upcoming motorcycle are out, thanks to our friends at GaadiWaadi. The launch is expected to happen in the second quarter of the year. According to various media outlets, deliveries are slated to begin in the coming months. The bookings for both Aprilia RS 660 and Aprilia Tuono 660 have already started at various dealerships in the country. The new bikes will be coming to the Indian market through the CBU (completely built units) route. 2021 Aprilia RS 660 will retail in three colours namely Acid Gold, Lava Red and Apex Black.


The Aprilia RS660 is the brand’s new middleweight motorcycle to be developed from scratch and signals the company’s renewed focus on the premium motorcycle segment. Talking in detail about the new motorcycle, it will sport Aprilia’s signature triple LED headlamp cluster housing DRLs, an LED taillight and bulky fuel tank. Both the new Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660 will sit on the same aluminium frame while sharing the same design elements. Tuono 660 will offer a more comfortable riding experience due to a single-piece handlebar and modified fairing design. 


Talking about the electronic equipment on board, both are expected to offer the same set of features. One can expect a six-axis IMU-based system consisting of three-level cornering ABS, traction control and engine brake as well as adjustable wheelie controls. The motorcycle comes with 5 driving modes namely Commute, Dynamic, Individual, Challenge and Time Attack. One can access the driving modes through the TFT dashboard.

Both the 2021 Aprilia RS660 and Aprilia Tuono 660 are powered by a new Euro 5 (BS6) compliant 659cc parallel-twin engine which is expected to deliver 100bhp of power output at 10500rpm and 67Nm of peak torque at 8500rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
