With the onset of the new year, Bajaj Pulsar 220F gets a price hike along with some updates. The popular dual-purpose, performance-oriented commuter bike has started arriving at showrooms and is also available for test rides. The model comes with a few new features and improved engine performance. The images of the same have surfaced online. With the addition of new features, we can expect the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 220F to be around Rs 2000 premium over the current model. At present, the model on sale is retailed at Rs 1.25 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The first key update is the repositioning of the odometer wire. In comparison to the previous model where the odometer wire was connected to the front wheel, the updated 220F has the wire connected to the rear wheel. The updated model continues to get the semi-digital instrument console with an analogue tachometer and a digital readout. However, a few changes have been made to it in terms of design. The trip meter and odometer are now positioned on the right side. While the fuel-gauge is shifted to the bottom-right corner of the screen. Talking about the speedometer, it is now positioned in the center with the side-stand warning function at the top. The instrument console misses out on a gear indicator and clock. The carbon fiber pattern on the dash gives the bike a sporty touch. Besides these, no other changes to the motorcycle have been made.
