Benelli India has launched the BS6 version of the TRK 251 at a sticker price of Rs 2.51 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being offered in three color options namely Glossy White, Glossy Black and Glossy Grey, it can be booked online and offline at a token amount of Rs 6,000. The BS6 Benelli TRK 251 deliveries will start from January 2022 across all the exclusive Benelli showrooms in India. The adventure tourer comes with a 3-year unlimited kilometre warranty as standard while it rivals KTM 250 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS in the Indian market.
Sitting on a steel trestle frame, the BS6 2021 Benelli TRK 251 gets LED lighting, integrated turn indicators and upswept chrome exhaust pipe. The front fascia comes with a beak and chunky suspension setup. Commenting on the launch, Mr Vikas Jhabakh, MD, Benelli India said, “We are excited to launch our Young Adventure Machine in India today. The TRK 251 is an accessible and high-performance adventure tourer offering purposeful design, aggressive styling, ultra-comfortable ergonomics and engaging performance. With the launch of TRK 251, we are looking forward to add more customers to the Benelli family in the country who are dreaming to enter the adventure touring realm. As for features, 2021 Benelli TRK 251 also boasts of a fully digital instrument cluster, adjustable brake and clutch levers, and a 5V USB charging point as standard. It has a massive fuel tank with capacity of 18 litres while the ground clearance stands at 170mm. The adventure tourer is powered by a BS6 compliant 250cc single-cylinder four-stroke petrol engine which develops top power of 25.7 bhp at 9250 rpm and peak torque of 21.1 Nm at 8000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The braking duties are done by a 280mm disc unit at front and a 240mm disc unit at rear while the bike rides on 17-inch wheels. The TRK 251 has a seat height of 800mm.
