Ducati India has launched the 2021 BS6 Panigale V4 at a sticker price of Rs 23.50 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. The 2021 BS6 Ducati Panigale V4 S is priced at Rs 28.40 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India). The brand had announced to introduce 12 new bikes in India this year and it has already launched 8 out of them. Co-developed by engineers from Ducati Corse and the Ducati Style Center, the bike now gets the latest generation Ducati Traction Control, chain guard fin and heated grips as standard.
Taking cues from the V4 R, the 2021 BS6 Ducati Panigale boasts of Plexiglas, headlight fairing and side fairings while also carrying lateral extractors for efficient air flow over the radiators. The electronics package comprises of Cornering ABS, Ducati Slide Control (DSC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Power Launch (DPL), Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS), Engine Brake Control (EBC) and Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES). The superbike also features a new Riding Mode strategy that allows the rider to make quick comparisons between two different configurations on the track to define the best set-up. The Race Riding Mode has been split into two specific mappings for track use (Race A and Race B), now freely comparable in the individual parameters, which complement the already existing Sport and Street.
The ignition key of the 2021 Panigale has a new, more modern, and elegant grip. The duo is also equipped with new self-bleeding brake and clutch pumps which were used for the first time on the Superleggera V4. The 2021 Panigale V4 and V4 S are powered by a BS6 compliant Desmosedici Stradale engine which churns out top power of 214 bhp at 13,000 rpm and peak torque of 124 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The power output and torque performance are identical to the BS4 version despite the upgrade to BS6 emission norms. To further eliminate power loss, the company equipped the exhaust with larger catalysts (+10 mm in length) and with a new technology of impregnation of noble metals. The bookings for the new superbike are open across all Ducati dealerships while deliveries will begin immediately.
