Honda Cars India has finally launched the much-anticipated Amaze facelift at a starting price of Rs 6.32 lakhs (ex-showroom). The price goes as high as Rs 11.15 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top-spec VX CVT trim. Bookings have started from today onwards. Interested buyers can book the vehicle at a token amount of Rs 21000 at dealerships or Rs 5000 via the online company website.

The Amaze facelift is offered in a total of three trims - E, S, and VX. The manual versions of both the petrol and diesel units are being offered across the three trims. While the petrol-CVT variants are found on the S and VX trims. Talking about the diesel-CVT variant, it is being offered on the VX trim. However, the entry-level diesel-CVT S variant has been discontinued.
Honda Amaze Facelift: Design
The Amaze facelift gets a major update on the front fascia. It features a new, sleek grille upfront with two additional horizontal chrome strips at the bottom. In addition, the compact sedan gets a revised fog lamp housing on the bumper and new chrome garnishes. The top-end VX trim features automatic LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and LED fog lamps. It further gets new chrome door handles and 15-inch diamond-cut, dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear end of the updated Amaze boasts of new C-shaped LED tail-lights, new chrome garnishes, and reflectors on the bumper.

Moving inside the cabin of the Amaze facelift, it gets the same layout as its predecessor. However, it does get subtle changes in terms of new silver accents on the dashboard and the steering wheel. Furthermore, the cabin boasts of the black and beige interior. Another major highlight is the new leather surround for the gear lever on the manual variants. Other added features include front map lamps, dust & pollen filter, a new chrome finish for the AC vent knobs, and a new inside lining on the trunk lid. The top-end VX trim comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit compatible with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, and new beige seat fabrics with stitching.
Honda Amaze Facelift: Engine Specifications
No changes have been made on the mechanical front. The updated Amaze continues to draw power from a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that churns out 89 bhp power and 110 Nm peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. There is also a 1.5-litre diesel unit on sale. It generates a top power of 99 bhp & a peak torque of 200 Nm while being mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and 79 bhp power and 160 Nm peak torque with a CVT automatic gearbox.
