We can expect 2021 Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 price to start from Rs. 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom), India

2021 Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 has finally been revealed to the global audience. It is being introduced as an entry-level motorcycle by the Swedish manufacturer. The new Svartpilen 125 is quite similar to the KTM Duke 125 like the Svartpilen and Vitpilen line-up. Svartpilen 125 will be manufactured at Bajaj Auto’s production facility in Chakan, Pune like the smaller capacity KTM bikes. Bajaj owns 48 percent of stake in KTM. 2021 Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 will be introduced first in the European market but do expect its launch in the domestic market in the coming days. Considering the popularity of KTM 125 Duke in India, the brand sees an opportunity for the Svartpilen 125 too. Pricing and launch details are not revealed yet. We can expect 2021 Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 price to start from Rs. 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom), India.

Talking in detail about the new Svartpilen 125, it is similar in design and dimension to the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 currently selling in India. The Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 is based on a split trellis frame plus sports a naked design. It rides on wire-spoke wheels, shod with dual-sport rubber. The bike sports a neo-retro design theme with the key highlights being it’s sculpted fuel tank, side-mounted exhaust and circular LED headlight. Additionally, the buyers can look forward to a digital instrument console and an all-LED setup.

2021 Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 shares its engine as well as chassis with the KTM 125 Duke. Thus it will come powered by a 125cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with performance figures of 14.3 bhp @9,250 rpm and 12 Nm of peak torque @8,000 rpm. The two-wheeler will get a side-mounted exhaust which is different from the KTM Duke 125. Braking duties are taken care by dual-disc set-up with dual-channel ABS offered as standard fitment. The suspension system will consist of 43mm WP Apex forks in the front and a WP Apex mono-shock unit with adjustable preload towards the rear end.
