Hyundai has released the new Tucson images before its global premiere on September 15.

Hyundai Motor company has given us a sneak peek of the upcoming 2021 Tucson SUV. Though, many might assume it to be a concept version but the South Korean automaker claims it to be a full production-spec model. The all-new Hyundai Tucson world premiere is scheduled for September 15, 2020. The design highlights include Hyundai's signature headlamp architecture and a dual-cockpit layout. It appears seemingly inspired by the Vision T concept which was revealed at the 2019 LA Auto Show. The front side of the SUV comes with a new jewel-like grille design that uses the automaker's signature Parametric Hidden Light technology. Hyundai’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design first seen is the new Elantra sedan also makes its way in the new Tucson’s design theme too.

Dimension wise, the new Tucson is bigger and wider than the older models with a long hood and shorter overhangs giving a coupe-like appearance. The chiselled surface gives a high contrast between the sleek silhouette and the masculine wedge. Moving onto the interior, the 2021 Tucson is more spacious than ever. You would feel like entering a modern boutique hotel where comfort is the key. The company calls the interior design theme "Interspace" as it comes with a fully-digital instrument cluster. One can observe the presence of a large 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation system. The touchscreen system looks bigger in appearance due to the integration into the shiny black waterfall centre stack. If you follow the waterfall’s fall, you can observe push-button controls for starting and switching off the engine. The major highlight of the new cabin design is the 64-ambient lighting system.

Details about the powertrains and performance will be disclosed in the coming days. We can expect the 2021 Hyundai Tucson to be sold in two different wheelbases. The longer-wheelbase model will be sold in the USA, China and Korea while the shorter variant will come in Europe and the Middle East. For the India spec model, we have to wait for a while but we can expect the 2021 Hyundai Tucson to arrive here finally. Recently, the pre-facelift model of the SUV was launched in India at Rs 22.30 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India). It competes against Jeep Compass, Skoda Karoq and Honda CR-V in the SUV segment. Hyundai Tucson is sold in both petrol and diesel fuel trims in the Indian market.
