Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 will come with several feature upgrades, a tweaked engine, and new color options

Royal Enfield has officially revealed the date of the launch of the Royal Enfield 2021 Classic 350. The bike is all set to make its debut on September 1 in the country. The bike maker has also released a teaser video on its official youtube channel regarding the same. We already have a lot of information regarding the upcoming bike. The test mule has also been spied on multiple occasions in the past. The next-gen Royal Enfield Classic 350 packs in a wide range of updates including a revised engine, visual refinements, and new color options.


Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6: Design & Features

The upcoming Classic 350 is based on the J-platform. It continues to flaunt a retro look. Upfront, the bike features a round headlamp with chrome bezels. Design bits like the front & rear fenders, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and round-shaped rearview mirrors have been carried over from its predecessor. The bike further comes with a choice of spoke and alloy wheel options. The chrome garnish on turn indicators, engine casing, handlebars, front & rear suspensions, and exhaust pipe enhances the bike’s retro appeal. Moving on, the new Classic 350 will come with both single seat and double seat configurations. We can also expect the seats to come with improved cushioning for more comfort. In terms of features, the updated bike will get a Tripper Navigation pod integrated into the headlight. Besides this, there will be a revised instrument cluster that further features a separate digital readout with a fuel gauge.


Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6: Color Options

Talking about the color options, the next-gen Classic 350 will come with British Green and Glossy Grey. Besides these, the existing color options include Stealth Black, Airborne Blue, Chrome Black, Metallo Silver, Gunmetal Grey, Orange Ember, Stormrider Sand, and Classic Black. The seat color options include Brown and Black. 

Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the BS6 Classic 350 will draw its power from a 349cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled SOHC four-stroke engine that also does duty on Meteor 350. The motor is tuned to produce a top power of 20.1 bhp at 6100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. It is further linked to a 5-speed gearbox. The 2021 RE Classic 350 sits on a new double downtube frame. Suspension duties will be taken care of by telescopic forks upfront and dual shock absorber at the rear. In terms of the brake, the bike gets disc on both ends. Dual-channel ABS will come as standard.
