2022 Honda BR-V is based on the N7X concept showcased by Honda earlier this year

Honda finally took the wraps off the three-row BR-V globally. The new 7-seater SUV is based on the N7X concept. It will first go on sale in the Indonesian market followed by the other global markets. The 2022 BR-V will be offered in a total of four variants namely S, E, Prestige, and Prestige with Honda Sensing. Talking about the prices, it is yet to be revealed. 

2022 Honda BR-V: Design

Design-wise, the new Honda BR-V looks quite similar to its concept version N7X. Upfront, it features sleek LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. Moving on to the side of the car, it flaunts large multi-spoke alloy wheels and roof rails. The rear end boasts of wrap-around LED taillights. Besides this, there is also a roof spoiler integrated on the top of the tailgate. 


2022 Honda BR-V: Features

Moving inside the cabin of the new Honda BR-V, it boasts a layout loaded with bells and whistles. The feature highlights include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, an engine start/stop button, a 4.2-inch TFT display in the instrument cluster, remote lock/unlock function among many others. The top-end trim of the 2022 BR-V gets features like Honda Smartkey, Honda lane watch system that comes with blindspot detection, and Honda sensing that comes with features like adaptive cruise control.

2022 Honda BR-V: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the upcoming BR-V gets a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that does duty in the Honda City. The engine is capable of returning a top power of 120 bhp and a peak torque of 145 Nm. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox. 

2022 Honda BR-V: India Launch

Talking about the India launch, there is no such confirmation regarding the same. The production of BR-V was stopped in India due to its low selling numbers. As of now, the automaker has no 7-seater SUV in its India product line-up. However, the new BR-V if launched in the Indian market could prove to be a good contender.
