2022 Hyundai Venue facelift will be launched by mid of next year in India

Hyundai is working rigorously on a mid-cycle facelift for the Venue SUV which is expected to break cover in 2022. The facelifted version has been spied earlier as well during its test runs. But this time the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift has been spotted with lesser camouflage which in turn reveals a few updates that have been given to the SUV. The updates will not be limited to the exterior but they will also be carried over to the interior cabin and one can expect a host of premium features and new technologies in the SUV.

Going by the spy-image, it can be clearly said that the 2022 Hyundai Venue more or less will carry the same body shell as the current model. There will be major upgrades at the rear as visible in the spy pics. The whole tailgate has been restyled with the inclusion of a new LED tail-lamp cluster and bumper. The tail lamps seem to be inspired from the Creta with angular shape and a thin LED strip. Though the number plate positioning is retained from the ongoing model. The alloy wheel design is also new as evident from the spy shots. The alloys resemble the ones already on offer with the latest Casper micro-SUV. The front fascia is not visible but we expect multiple updates there too.

The cabin is also expected to receive new design for the seats, upholstery and dashboard. It could be heavy on tech in order to meet the ever rising competition from the likes of Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite and the upcoming Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift. Mechanically, it will continue to use the current engine options - a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0L turbocharged petrol and a 1.5L diesel. There will be a myriad of gearbox options to choose from like a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT automatic and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic unit. The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift price is expected to start from Rs 7 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).
