The 2022 390 Adventure will rival the likes of BMW 310 GS and Royal Enfield Himalayan in India

KTM has unveiled the 2022 Adventure 390 with a handful of cosmetic upgrades and new features. It will go on sale from January next year in various international markets. We can expect the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure to launch in the Indian market in the first quarter of next year. The 2022 390 Adventure will rival the likes of BMW 310 GS and Royal Enfield Himalayan in India. The bike also comes with an array of customization options and accessories while it is offered in two distinct color choices including a new Blue/Orange scheme.

KTM has introduced Street and Offroad modes for traction control in the 2022 390 Adventure. The offroad mode gives the bike a degree of rear wheel slip to enable even easier use of the bike in loose or wet terrain. The offroad traction control will remain activated even in the event of a brief stall or fall. Riding on five spoke wheels, it also boasts of segment-leading lean-angle sensitive Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) feature. The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure sits on a removable steel trellis subframe which is fitted with just four screws while suspension duties are helmed by WP APEX adjustable units at front and rear. It has a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 litres and the company claims that it can cover 400 kms on a full tank.

As for braking, the bike is equipped with BYBRE discs at front as well as rear. Mechanically, the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure is powered by the same 373.4cc single cylinder 4-stroke liquid-cooled Euro5 petrol engine which delivers top power of 43 bhp and peak torque of 37 Nm. The bike features a two-part seat and brand new graphics. This is the first update for the 390 Adventure since its launch. The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure price would be marginally higher than the present model due to the addition of new features and color options. Meanwhile, in other news, the 2022 KTM 250 Adventure has also received multiple updates in the form of newly designed alloy wheels and color schemes.
