The 2022 KTM RC 390 has been leaked online ahead of its official unveiling. Besides the clear images, lots and lots of information regarding the upcoming motorcycle has surfaced online. The 2022 KTM RC 390 leaked images are said to be acquired from the company's official website which went live for a short duration before it was taken down. The bike will rival the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300, TVS Apache RR 310 and BMW G310 R in the Indian market while the price is expected around Rs 3 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).
The final design resembles the mules spotted testing with camouflage. The front fairing surrounding the headlamp has been offered in a carbon-fibre finish. But this is it, it is only a finish not carbon fibre in actuality. The windscreen appears to be taller than the current model. The twin lights on either side of the headlamp might also contribute as pilot lights, besides functioning as the indicators. The bike features a split seat setup with better padding. Some of the other notable features include a bolt-on rear subframe, clip-on handlebars, Continental ContiRoad sport touring tyres, large TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth & turn-by-turn Navigation, and suspension setup (front and rear) with sport adjusters.
The mechanical department has been carried over from the ongoing model with even the engine cover being the same. The engine block is retained but the cooling and exhaust systems have gone under the hammer. We are not sure but the 2022 KTM RC 390 might get a couple of radiator fans as compared to the present version's one. The company might also offer a basic bi-directional quickshifter with the bike. The 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine will belt out 42 bhp and 35 Nm while mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It has been learnt that the fuel tank capacity of the bike has been increased from the current model.
