Maruti Suzuki is all set to bring a major facelift of the Vitara Brezza SUV in the Indian market. Now, it has been spotted without any camouflage and clear images have emerged on the web. Besides the 2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift images, new details about the design, features and engine options of the SUV have also been leaked online. The 2022 Vitara Brezza facelift is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2022 in India while it will directly rival Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport.
Going by the spy-images, the 2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift would get new body panels. The front fascia flaunts a new flat bonnet so that the clamshell design can stand out. The headlamp units and front grille are integrated to present them as a single unit, albeit with a few matte black elements in between. The slot-like grille comes with a couple of chrome stripes near the Maruti Suzuki logo. The front bumper is introduced with an integrated black bull bar. Since the facelifted version will be underpinning the same Suzuki Global C platform as the current model, there are no significant changes made to the side profile save for the new cladding near the wheel arches and doors. The rear end boasts of enlarged wraparound tail-lamps while the bumper also appears bigger than before.
As for features, the 2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza could come loaded with a plethora of bells and whistles. The most notable inclusion will be of sunroof which was dearly missed in the current version. In addition, the company has refreshed the dashboard, steering wheel and instrument cluster while introducing an all-new free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay & Connected Car Tech. It has been learnt that Maruti might drop the 'Vitara' prefix from the upcoming SUV and it could be just called Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Maruti Vitara is already on sale in several global markets and insiders have revealed that it could also be launched in the Indian market in its new-gen avatar, hence Maruti is doing away with the 'Vitara' prefix in the Vitara Brezza.
