The Skoda Karoq gets its first mid-life update since its launch in 2017

Skoda Auto has taken the wraps off the 2022 Karoq facelift. This is the first mid-life refresh that the Skoda Karoq has received since its launch in 2017. The facelifted SUV comes with several styling upgrades, new technology, and improved engine efficiency. As of now, there is no news regarding the launch of the Karoq facelift in the Indian market.

Talking about the cosmetic updates, the 2022 Karoq facelift gets a bold front fascia. The facelifted SUV features a wider hexagonal grille, slimmer LED headlights with redesigned DRLs, body-coloured bumpers, an aerodynamically optimised fuel tank, LED tail lights with dynamic indicators, and body-coloured rear spoilers. The SUV retains the centrally mounted Skoda lettering.

The 2022 Skoda Karoq facelift is offered in a total of three variants - SE Drive, SE L, and SportLine. The cabin of the updated Karoq remains similar to the outgoing model. However, it does get subtle updates. Feature-wise, the entry-level SE Drive trim has been updated with an 8.0-inch digital driver's display. The mid-level SE L variant gets additional features like 17-inch wheels and a larger body-coloured spoiler. The range-topping SportLine trim, on the other hand, comes equipped with LED Matrix headlights. This particular trim also gets Skoda’s Black Pack as standard. This pack adds black trim for the window frames, rear diffuser, 18-inch alloy wheels, wing mirrors, and roof rails.
