Toyota India has launched the 2022 Camry Hybrid at a sticker price of Rs 41.70 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. The sedan comes with a refreshed exterior design, new features and a powerful engine. The 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid bookings have already started online as well as at the company dealerships. The battery of the sedan comes with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 kilometers - whichever is earlier. Presently, it has no direct rival in the Indian market as Honda Accord hybrid has been discontinued.

As for styling, the 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid comes with a newly designed front bumper and grille with chrome inserts. It rides on new 18-inch alloy wheels with bright machined finish on Dark Gray Metallic base. The rear end boasts of LED brake lights with Red Reflex reflectors and Black base extension. The 2022 Camry Hybrid is available in a new exterior color of Metal Stream Metallic in addition to the existing colors of Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Graphite Metallic, Red Mica, Attitude Black, and Burning Black. The sedan has been offered with a new interior ornamentation which features Black engineered wood effect film with a composite pattern.

Based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), the 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid gets a plethora of bells and whistles in the form of Ventilated Front Seats, 10-Way Power Adjustable Driver Seat, ORVM and Tilt-Telescopic Steering Column with Memory Function, Wireless Smartphone Charger, Heads-Up Display, Rear Seats with Recliner, Power Assisted Rear Sunshade, three-zone personal air-conditioning and Tilt & Slide MoonRoof with Retractable Sunshade and a Front Power tilt. In addition, a special mention goes to the floating type 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is compatible with Android Auto & Apple Carplay while paired with a 9-speaker Premium Audio JBL w/Clari-Fi technology.

The safety features onboard are 9 SRS Airbags, Parking Assist with Back Guide Monitor, Clearance & Back Sonar, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist Control,  Electronic Parking Brake with Brake Hold Function, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System among others. Mechanically, the 2022 Camry Hybrid is powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder Gasoline Hybrid Dynamic Force Engine which is linked to a powerful electric motor. The combined power output stands at 215 bhp while torque delivery is 221 Nm. The powertrain is linked to a CVT automatic gearbox which comes with paddle shifters. There are three three driving modes - Sport, Eco and Normal.
