The real-world interior shots of the upcoming SUV, the Hyundai Creta facelift, have been released by Hyundai ahead of its January 16 launch. Although Hyundai has previously revealed glimpses of the interior and a few of its new features, these pictures allow us to get a better look at some of the specifics.
Hyundai has completely redesigned the SUV's interior with this update, including a brand-new dashboard that features two 10.25-inch connected infotainment screens as the centerpiece. This unit, which is identical to that on the Kia Seltos, provides better usability and enhanced functionality.

However, there is an intriguing feature that was not made apparent in the teaser photos up until this point: the central HVAC control panel still has physical buttons for each climate control function in addition to shortcut buttons for media and navigation. On the other hand, the teaser images hinted at a touch-based control panel, and these kinds of systems are usually hit or miss. It even has two toggle switches and rotary dials that should be easy to use while on the go.
The passenger AC vent is neatly housed in a new gloss black trim on the passenger side of the dashboard, which is another highlight. The driver's side AC vent is now located in a narrow horizontal band that runs the length of the central AC vents, which have also been moved. The dashboard now has a convenient new storage shelf, and the center console has also undergone minor revisions. But the door pads are still the same as they were before.
Features of the Creta facelift include ventilated front seats, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, dual-zone climate control, an eight-way powered driver's seat, and a panoramic sunroof. Standard safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera system, a blind spot monitoring system, all-wheel disc brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system, and electronic stability control (ESC). The Level 2 ADAS suite has 19 functions.
The 1.5-liter, 115-hp gasoline and diesel engines under the hood of the Creta facelift will remain available, with a manual gearbox as standard and a CVT and torque converter gearboxes as options. With a 1.5-liter, 160 horsepower engine, the turbo-petrol returns, but it will only be available with a seven-speed DCT gearbox.
For the facelift, Hyundai is now accepting reservations; deliveries are anticipated to start in late January. When the Creta facelift prices are announced in the coming days, it will compete in the midsize SUV market with vehicles like the Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, and Kia Seltos.
