Just a few days ago, we all witnessed the major reveal of the 2024 Kia Carnival exterior outlook. And now, Kia has unveiled the interior specifications along with characteristics of the Carnival Facelift MPV. The carmaker has also revealed the specs for the facelifted variant for Korea, where the model will be offered with 3 engine options and 3-seating configurations. Along with that, the brand is now endorsing the pre-booking globally, with Indian market new-gen MPV launch scheduled for next year.
Although the two-tone cabin has a similar resemblance with the third-generation model, it still does contain some unmatched changes. These changes include a rotary gear selector replacing the larger lever employed in the previous version of this facelifted model. Furthermore, the model is equipped with a curved display setup with two 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and an instrument panel, a head-up display, 8 airbags, OTA updates, and last but not least Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2) along with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Along with the aforementioned details about the facelifted Carnival interior, it also encapsulates ambient lighting, a rear entertainment system with a 14.5-inch HD screen, a wireless charger, multi-zone climate control, and a digital IRVM (internal rear view mirror). And the facelifted Carnival will be enabled to potential consumers globally in 3 different variants depending on its model- as a 4-, 7-, or a 9-seat model.
The newest version of Carnival will be offered in 6 distinct exterior paint options, including Snow White PEarl, Pantera Metal, Ceramic Silver, Aurora Black Pearl, Silver, and Astra Blue. And 3 interior paint schemes include Navy Grey, Cotton Beige, and Taupe.
If the powertrain is decoded, the carmaker is now offering a hybrid powertrain along with the 3.5 L petrol and 2.2 L diesel options for this newest facelifted Carnival. And the model is all powered up a 1.6 turbocharged engine mated with an electric motor, churning out a combined maximum horsepower of 241 hp (177 bhp engine output) and a peak torque of 350 Nm.
Compared to its earlier generation, Kia is anticipated to unveil the 4th-generation MPV in the India market through CKD or Completely Knocked Down route. And one can easily expect that the facelift is going to command a premium over the 3rd-generation model.
