Maruti Suzuki has launched the Fronx Turbo Velocity Edition in India on February 6, 2024. The automaker announced last month that the Fronx SUV acquired a sales milestone of 1 lakh units within just 10 months of its official launch in the Indian market. Maruti has now announced special discounts on the Turbo Velocity Edition. The Maruti Fronx is a popular choice among buyers as it has a unique coupe-style sloping roofline and sporty profile. The new Edition further improves the features and overall look of the SUV.
The Fronx Turbo Velocity Edition is available in three trims: Alpha, Delta+, and Zeta. The MY23 and MY24 Fronx models will receive this new edition. The new Fronx SUV gets new complimentary cosmetic accessories. The auto giant is offering a set of 16 free accessories worth INR 43,000. Maruti has not made any mechanical changes to the SUV.

The exterior accessories that are being offered with the Fronx edition include front bumper painted garnish, exterior styling kit (Grey + Red), ORVM cover, headlamp garnish, illuminated door sill guard, door visor premium, rear bumper painted garnish, wheel arch garnish, spoiler extender at the rear, back door garnish, body side molding, and front grille garnish.
Inside the cabin, Maruti is offering several accessories like a red dash designer mat, a NexCross black finish seat cover (Delta+), an interior styling kit (carbon finish), a NexCross Bordeaux finish, and a 3D boot mat. Notably, most of these accessories are already available in all three variants. Only the NexCross sleeve seat cover is different as it gets a color choice. By offering these accessories with the SUV for free, the automaker is aiming to attract more buyers who are looking to buy a turbo variant of the Fronx SUV. It will also aid in increasing sales of turbo variants.
The Fronx Turbo Velocity Edition is powered by a 1.0-litre K-series turbo petrol engine that churns out 100.06 PS of maximum power and 147.6 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to five-speed manual and six-speed automatic gearboxes.
To support the new Turbo Velocity Edition, the automaker is offering attractive discounts for both the MY23 and MY24 models. The 2023 Turbo variants are now available with a discount of up to INR 83,000. The automaker is offering a cash benefit of INR 30,000, an exchange bonus of INR 10,000, and complementary accessories worth INR 43,000. After the addition of new discounts and benefits, the Fronx Turbo range for MY23 units is now priced between INR 9.33 lakh and INR 12.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Jimny has finally landed on the Indian soil amidst much fanfare but the launch is not confirmed yet. Expected priced between Rs 7-10 Lakhs.
