Yamaha Motor Company will reveal the 2024 MT-09 at the EICMA. The Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA) is a yearly trade show in Italy featuring motorcycles. The trade show will take place in Milan on November 7, 2023. For the global market, the MT-09 will be launched in Japan. Yamaha has not confirmed any details regarding the motorcycle’s launching dates in India.

Yamaha Motor Company has affirmed that it is planning to launch its big motorcycles in India. Yamaha Motor India has announced that it will launch the MT-03 and YZF-R3 motorcycles. The MT-07 is expected to be launched in the Indian market in 2024.

The 2024 MT-09 comes with a sharper and aggressive look. The headlamp unit on the motorcycle has a sleek design with two LED Daytime Running Lamp strips. The new motorcycle has an angular fuel tank, while the tail section is muscular. The 2024 MT-09 gets updated LED turn indicators, and they now have a self-canceling function. The MT-09 comes with a five-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster. To charge mobile phones, the TFT instrument cluster gets a C-type socket along with connective features. 

The MT-09 is available with 5 riding modes: two customized ones and three presets. In the new motorcycle, the auto manufacturer also added features like Standard cruise and ride control. At the front, the suspension tuning in the MT-09 is now less rigid, while the engine suspension is now stiffer. The rear suspension and damping characteristics have been transformed. The MT-09 rides on 17-inch spinforged aluminum wheels that come with Bridgestone Battlax and Hypersport S23 tires. The 2024 MT-09 is powered by the same 890 cc, CP3, liquid-cooled, 3-cylinder engine that churns out 117.3 bhp at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 93 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The gearbox in the MT-09 is a six-speed unit that gets a slip and assist clutch.
