2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 Powertrain

The Tiger 1200 range draws power from a revamped 1160 cc inline-triple engine that has received alterations. The balancer, alternator rotor, crankshaft, and recalibration have been tweaked for better torque delivery. The engine can churn out power of 148 bhp at 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 130 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 Upgrades

The motorcycle comes equipped with an Active Preload Reduction system for suspension at the back. The new preload reduction system lowers the rear suspension and reduces the seat height by up to 20 mm via a button. The GT Pro variant boasts a seat height of 850/870 mm, whereas the Tiger 1200 Rally Pro has a seat height of 875/895 mm.

The Tiger 1200 bike range is underpinned on a tubular steel frame along with a dual-sided “Tri-Link” aluminum swingarm. It is packed with Showa’s 49 mm semi-active damping USD forks. The bike provides a wheel travel of 200 mm. At the back, the bike receives a semi-active monoshock and electronic preload adjustment function.

In the new bike, Triumph has made the clutch lever longer, giving riders more room for their fingers and increasing comfort, particularly on lengthy trips. The renowned British company has now included the risers and dampened handlebars, which were previously exclusive to the Explorer models, in the Tiger GT line. By raising the footpeg positions and bringing them closer to the bike, Triumph has also improved the Tiger GT range's cornering clearance.
