Actor Shah Rukh Khan is 2020 Hyundai Creta's First Owner

Actor Shah Rukh Khan had also unveiled the 2020 New-Gen Hyundai Creta at the Auto Expo in February.

The New-Gen 2020 Hyundai Creta BS6 was launched a couple of days back in the Indian market with a price range of Rs 9.99 - Rs 17.20 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) India. The All-New SUV had already registered over 14,000 bookings even before its launch. Now, the South-Korean automaker has announced that the first owner of the 2020 New-Gen Creta SUV is none other than Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is also Hyundai's brand ambassador. Just so you know, the all-new Creta SUV had its first public premiere in India at the 2020 Auto Expo and King Khan, as Shah Rukh is addressed fondly by his fans, had unveiled it with his signature DDLJ pose.

Tarun Garg, Sales Director, Hyundai India handed over the keys of all-new Creta to Khan which was a range-topping black-colored 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol DCT unit. The SUV has been presented in a total of 14 variants with different powertrain-transmission combinations across five grades: E, EX, S, SX & SX(O). The production is in full swing at Hyundai's Chennai facility while it can be booked at any company authorized dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. It is available in a total of ten paint schemes: Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Lava Orange, Titan Grey, Galaxy Blue, Red Mulberry, Deep Forest (Turbo Only), Polar White with Phantom Black and Lava Orange with Phantom Black.

The 2020 new-gen Hyundai Creta is packed with a myriad of bells and whistles in the form of the fully digital instrument cluster, air purifier, dual-zone climate control with rear vents, 8-speaker Bose sound system and a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and BlueLink Connect car technology. It is being offered with three BS6 compliant engines options namely a 1.5 litre MPI petrol, 1.5 litre CRDi diesel and a 1.4 litre T-GDI petrol. All of the aforementioned engines are borrowed from Kia Seltos. A 6-speed manual transmission is available as standard while an IVT (1.5L petrol), 6-speed torque converter AT (1.5L diesel) and a 7-speed DCT auto gearbox (1.4L petrol) are offered as optional.
