Royal Enfield has launched the limited-edition Pegasus 500 ABS in Argentina. The limited-edition bike pays tribute to the British paratroopers from World War II.

Royal Enfield has made only 500 of these limited-edition bikes. The Pegasus 500 will be available only in two colours – Service Brown and Olive Drab Green. The Pegasus 500 is made exclusively to honour the British paratroopers from the World War II. The Pegasus 500 gets some unique touches that are very much similar to the Royal Enfield WD or the Flying Flea.

The bike has been launched in Argentina with ABS but doesn't get ABS for the Indian market, which has made the owners livid since the new Royal Enfield bikes now get ABS in India and Pegasus for India doesn't.

The Pegasus 500 gets tank stickers from the World War II along with unique stencilled numbers on both sides of the tank. The chassis and engine of the bike are body coloured. The exhaust, rims, kickstart, and pedals are blacked out for this limited-edition. The handle grip on this bike is brown coloured, there are canvas panniers on both sides of the bike and there is a leather strap with a brass buckle on the air filter box.

The engine of the Pegasus 500 will be the same 499cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine. The power figures of this engine are 27.2 BHP and 41.3 Nm. This limited-edition Pegasus 500 which is launched in Argentina gets an additional ABS, which was missed out on the Indian model.
