The 450 Apex comes with six ride modes: Eco, Smart Eco, Ride, Warp, Sport, and Warp Plus.

Ather Energy, a Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, launched its most famous scooter, the Ather 450 Apex, in India in January 2024 at an introductory price of INR 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The introductory offer on the 450 Apex has now ended, and as a result, Ather has increased the price of this famous e-scooter by INR 6,000. The Ather 450 Apex is now priced at INR 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 450 Apex is the most expensive electric scooter in the brand’s lineup. Notably, it is also the most robust and powerful Ather model to date. The EV maker will continue the production of the Apex until October 2024. The electric scooter is powered by a 7-kW electric motor and houses a 3.7-kWh battery. The electric motor generates a torque output of 26 Nm.

The EV maker offers the Ather 450 Apex with a special paint scheme to set it apart from the other 450-series. The electric scooter comes with a two-layer ‘Indium Blue’ paint scheme followed by orange paint contrast on the frame, wheels, and logos. It comes equipped with near-transparent side panels.

The 450 Apex comes equipped with six ride modes: Eco, Smart Eco, Ride, Warp, Sport, and Warp Plus. According to the company, the 450 Apex e-scooter can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. The e-scooter has a top speed of 100 kmph. It houses a seven-inch touchscreen along with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. The electric scooter features a monoshock and a telescopic fork, whereas braking duties are done by a 200 mm disc at the front and a 190 mm disc at the back. In its segment, the scooter rivals the Ola S1 Pro, which is less expensive than the 450 Apex.

The Bengaluru-based EV maker also offers the new Magic Twist feature, which includes an advanced regenerative braking system. The brand says that the system is robust enough to stop the e-scooter without the need for brake lever inputs. The system consistently works and provides reliable operation regardless of the battery’s state-of-charge (SoC). This has raised the scooter’s certified range to 157 km (150 km for the base model).
