Audi e-Tron Complete Feature List Revealed Ahead of Launch

Audi e-tron SUV will be launched in the country on July 22, 2021

Audi e-Tron is all set to be launched on July 22 in the country. The bookings for the all-electric SUV commenced a few days back on the automaker’s India website. Dealerships have also started accepting bookings at a token amount of Rs 5 lakhs. Ahead of its official launch, the feature and optional equipment list has been revealed online.

Audi e-tron will be offered in two bodystyle options - the standard e-tron SUV and the e-tron Sportback. Talking about the standard SUV, it will be available with e-tron 50 and e-tron 55 trims. The Sportback will be offered with e-tron Sportback 55 trim only. Design-wise, the electric SUV will get Matrix LED headlamps. In addition, it features adaptive air suspension, progressive steering, a panoramic sunroof, aluminum roof rails, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a 4-zone climate control. 


Moving inside the cabin, the upcoming e-tron SUV will get Audi’s ‘virtual cockpit’ digital dials, leatherette upholstery, powered front seats with memory, single colour ambient lighting, wireless charger, among many others. The top-end e-tron Sportback 55 trim will be offered with a host of optional equipment. These include a heads-up display, adaptive windshield wipers, soft-close doors, Audi’s Virtual Cockpit Plus, a black styling package with black roof rails, interior trim in natural Walnut, interior trim in wood ash grain Volcano Grey, and a flat-bottom steering wheel. The Technology Package will also be offered as an option. It will comprise 30 colour ambient and contour lighting package, Digital Matrix LED headlamps with the follow-me-home animation projections, a 705-watt, 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen Premium 3D sound system, an air quality package, and a 360-degree camera.

Performance-wise, the e-tron SUV will use two electric motors positioned one on the front axle and one on the rear. The base e-tron 50 trim will generate 312 bhp power and 540 Nm peak torque. This particular variant further draws power from a 71kW battery and has a range of 264-379 km (WLTP combined). The range-topping e-tron 55 and Audi e-tron Sportback 55 will dish out 407 bhp power and 664 Nm peak torque. Here both the trims will draw power from a larger 95kW battery and have a range of 359-484 km (WLTP combined).  Power will be sent to all four-wheels via the e-quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. Furthermore, the battery will come with a 11kW AC Home Charger. It will also be capable of up to 150 kW DC fast charging. 


Besides these, the standard e-tron will be sold in a total of 8 color options namely Catalunya Red, Floret Silver, Galaxy Blue, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Siam Beige and Typhoon Grey. The e-tron Sportback will be offered in a Plasma Blue color option along with the eight aforementioned paint schemes. Audi e-tron will also come with three interior upholstery options - Mother of Pearl Beige, Okapi Brown and Black.
