Audi India has opened bookings for the RS Q8 for Rs 15 Lakhs in the country. The Indian customers can head to the official Audi India website or visit the brand’s dealerships and place the order for the high-performance SUV. Audi RS Q8 is the fourth launch from the German luxury automaker in India in 2020. It is the second RS model from the company in the Indian market after the RS7 Sportback's launch in June. Recently, Audi India had released a short video clip showcasing the performance of the powerful SUV.
Audi RS Q8 is the flagship model of the brand’s SUV line-up. It is the fastest SUV to run at the famous Nurburgring circuit in Germany. We can expect the Audi RS Q8 price upwards of Rs 2 crore (Ex-Showroom, India). In India, the performance-oriented SUV will rival Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Range Rover Sport and Mercedes-AMG GLE 63.
Audi RS Q8 is designed differently from the standard Q8 with a redesigned single-frame grille and a new larger front air intake, custom sills and downforce-generating signature RS roof spoiler. The rear of the SUV coupe sports a new diffuser and large quad exhausts.
Talking about the features on-board, the Audi RS Q8 will come equipped with Audi Virtual Cockpit digital gauge cluster and dual-touchscreen MMI interface. Various details like torque and power output, lap times, and g-forces can be observed on the MMI Interface. Technology-wise, Audi cars never disappoint so we can expect the usual tech features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot and navigation assist. In the cabin, one can expect the premium leather and Alcantara sports seats with RS leather-covered flat-bottom steering wheel.
The SUV is powered by a V8 twin-turbo 4.0L TFSI petrol engine. The powerful engine belts out a massive 600 bhp of power and 800 Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox with Quattro all-wheel drive system as standard. The SUV coupe can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. We can expect the powerful SUV to come with 22-inch wheels as standard and large composite disc brakes.
