Audi RS Q8 is the most powerful and fastest SUV in the Audi family

Audi India has launched the RS Q8 at a starting price of Rs 2.07 Crore (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. It is the most powerful and fastest SUV in the Audi family with a Nordschleife lap timing of 7 minutes 42 seconds. The high-performance SUV comes with RS Dynamic Package Plus as option while it takes on the likes of Lamborghini Urus and Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Being firstly unveiled at the LA Motor Show last year, Audi RS Q8 bookings in India had started a few weeks back at a token payment of Rs 15 Lakhs.

Audi RS Q8 Back Views

Audi RS Q8 flaunts an octagonal Singleframe design with a black glossy RS honeycomb grille upfront alongside the huge side air inlets. The performance-oriented SUV comes with LED headlamps and digital three-dimensional signature daytime running lights as standard but RS Matrix LED headlamps and LED rear combination lamps can be availed as option. The rear end boasts of RS roof spoiler, RS-specific apron and RS oval-shaped tailpipes. Some of the standard features include Audi’s Virtual cockpit, quattro with self locking differential, Air Quality Package with 4 Zone climate control, Ambient lighting package, Electric tailgate, Sport seats with RS embossing, Sport Adaptive Air Suspension and 2 RS modes for personalized drive settings. The gigantic SUV rides on 23-inch 5 Y-Spoke diamond turned alloy wheels.

Audi RS Q8 Interior

Some of the most premium features in Audi RS Q8, offered as optional, are panoramic sunroof, Head-up display, RS Sports exhaust, a B&O Advanced Sound system with 3D sound RS sport seats in Valcona leather including seat ventilation and massage, foot-activated gesture control, Fully perforated RS Sport flat-bottomed leather steering wheel with shift paddles and multifunction buttons, and RS dynamic package plus. Under the bonnet, the SUV has the 4.0L twin turbo V8 TFSI petrol engine with Cylinder on demand (COD) system. The engine delivers a top power of 600bhp and peak torque of 800Nm between 2200-4500rpm. The engine is linked to an 8-speed tiptronic automatic gearbox which transmits the power to the permanent all-wheel drive quattro system. The SUV does a 0-100kmph sprint in merely 3.8 seconds while clocking a top speed of 250kmph which can be further extended upto 305kmph by opting for the RS Dynamic Package Plus.
