The hot version of the A5 coupé uses a 450hp, 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine.

The second-gen RS5 sports coupé debuts the coupé body style of the latest-gen A5 in India. Currently, only the Sportback and convertible models are sold here. The car is powered by a new 2.9-litre, twin-turbo V6 petrol motor which is a drastic departure in terms of spec when compared to the last-gen RS5’s 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8.

The engine makes 450hp and 600Nm, and Audi claims it can hit 100kph in a time of 3.9sec. The car’s top speed is limited to 250kph in standard form; or you can get the optional RS Dynamic package, which will take the speed up to 280kph.

Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system is standard and so is an eight-speed gearbox. The car is fitted with 19-inch wheels as standard, while 20-inchers will be an optional extra. The cabin comes with sport seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, Alcantara leather upholstery, sport pedals and Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument system with RS highlights.
