Range Rover Velar’s starting price is Rs 73.30 Lakhs (ex-showroom, India). Launched last year, the SUV was initially priced at Rs 72.47 Lakhs (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Later on, the company hiked the price by almost 83,000 to Rs 73.30 Lakhs. The 5-seater SUV comes loaded with plenty of exciting features like twin 10-inch touchscreens, four-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, 14-way adjustable leather seats for both driver and front passenger.
The British automaker's focus on making the SUV safe is quite evident with tons of safety equipment on-board. One can find 6 airbags, Emergency Brake Assist, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Lane Keep Assist, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).
Talking about the performance of the imposing SUV, it is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The car delivers 247bhp of maximum power output and 365 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Range Rover Velar is locally manufactured in India at the production unit in Chikhali, Pune.
