The two-wheeler giant is planning to launch the e-scooter in new cities. With this, the bookings for Chetak opened in Nagpur on July 16, 2021. Besides this, buyers from three more cities - Mysore, Mangalore, and Aurangabad, can place their bookings for Bajaj Chetak from July 22, 2021, onwards. Interested buyers can get the bookings done at a token amount of Rs 2000. Bajaj Auto had earlier in April planned to enter Chennai and Hyderabad. However, this plan was set on hold. Currently, the Chetak electric scooter is on sale in 6 cities across 2 states in India. The company aims to make the e-scooter available in 22 Indian cities by 2022.
