Bajaj Auto launched Pulsar 125 Neon BS6 earlier this year. Now the company is all set to launch the Pulsar 125 Split Seat BS6 variant soon. The motorcycle has already started arriving at the dealerships. Like the old model, it will be available in select states only. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat BS6 has not been listed on the official website yet. It is expected to be around Rs 3000-4000 more expensive than Pulsar 125 Neon BS6 Disc Brake, which is currently priced at Rs 75,494 (Ex-Showroom). The Spilt Seat variant is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 78,500 and Rs 79,000 (Ex-Showroom)
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat was first launched in September 2019. The bike was initially available only in some limited places like in Telangana, Maharashtra and some North-Eastern states. Bajaj then brought in the second batch of the Pulsar 125 Split Seat variant but it was once again not available across the country. Now the bike has been spotted at a dealership in Bihar thus confirming its launch soon in the country.
Bajaj has given minor cosmetic updates to the Split Seat variant in order to differentiate the bike from its BS4 counterpart. In terms of design, the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split seat gets a split seat set up instead of a single-piece seat. The motorcycle also features split pillion grab rails and an engine cowl with attractive graphics. It gets color coordinated decals on the fuel tank extensions, front fenders, rear cowl, and alloy wheels. It gets 125 monikers on the body panels. The bike is available in Black with Orange and Black with Silver colour shades.
Under the skin, the Pulsar 125 Split Seat BS6 will be identical to Pulsar 125 Neon BS6. It will draw power from a revised 124.4 cc single-cylinder engine, 2-valve, air-cooled engine that churns out 12 bhp power and 11 Nm torque. The engine comes with Bajaj Auto’s patented DTS-i technology.
