Benelli India has announced the launch of the 502C on July 29, 2021 in the country. The company had started the bookings for the cruiser motorcycle on July 8 at a token payment of Rs 10,000 both online and at its dealerships. Benelli 502C will be offered in two color choices namely Matte Cognac Red and Glossy Black while coming with a 3-Year/Unlimited kilometres as standard warranty. Underpinning a steel trellis frame, the 502C cruiser motorcycle will get double-barrel stainless steel exhaust pipes with signature Benelli roar.
Benelli 502C will flaunt a LED headlamp upfront while there will be a short tail section. It will be equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster. Other notable features will include low seating position, wide swept handlebars and forward-set foot pegs. The braking duties will be helmed by 280mm twin discs at front and a 240mm single disk at the rear. As for suspension, the bike will have upside down front forks and a mono shock unit at the rear. The fuel tank capacity of the bike will be 21 litres.
Benelli 502C will be powered by a BS6 compliant 500cc 4-stroke parallel twin petrol engine which also does duties to the Leoncino 500. The engine generates maximum power output of 46.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and peak torque performance of 46 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed transmission.
