Under the skin, it will get engine options similar to the one present in the latest 3 Series. In the international market, the BMW 4 Series Coupe will get an extended range of 2.0L four-cylinder and 3.0L six-cylinder petrol and diesel powerplants. The 4 Series Coupe is likely to get 420i, 430i, and M440i xDrive petrol variants along with 420d and 430d diesel variants. One can also expect a new 430e plug-in hybrid, that draws power from a 2.0L four-cylinder petrol engine and a gearbox-mounted electric motor with a combined power output of 250 bhp and torque performance of 420 Nm. The 420i, 430i, 420d, and 430d variants are likely to get rear-wheel drive as standard. While the top-end variant 440i xDrive will get AWD system as standard.
