BMW India has commenced taking pre-bookings for the forthcoming i5 M60 xDrive electric sedan. The new i5 M60 xDrive is the high-performance variant of the famous BMW i5, which is inspired by the new-generation BMW 5 Series. The company has not shared the pricing details of the car. However, BMW is expected to release the details in the upcoming weeks. The new car comes with a more robust twin-motor setup than the standard BMW i5.

The upcoming electric sedan is expected to be launched in India in the coming months, and it will be brought to the country via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route. The company has announced that the i5 M60 xDrive sedan will only be available in limited numbers for now. Deliveries for the new sedan are scheduled to start in May 2024 across the nation.

The BMW i5 M60 xDrive sedan will be imported to India, so it is likely to come in a hefty price range. The auto marque is also working on the latest iteration of the BMW 5 Series, which will be revealed soon. The new BMW i5 M60 comes loaded with updated features like ambient lighting, auto climate control with a micro-filter, heated front seats, Active Driving Assistant, and a reverse camera.
