BMW India Offering Apple CarPlay For Older Cars

BMW is offering fitment of Apple CarPlay in India for Rs. 90,000/-.

These days connectivity has become the utmost important feature in a car wherein the driver could connect his/her smartphone to the car and make calls along with streaming music via Bluetooth. This technology has been there for long and now people have got familiar with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity that further offers more options.

With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, drivers get to access the maps, messages and music streaming apps while keeping the smartphone away. These features have become a necessity now as they are very convenient to use while driving. BMW India has been offering it with the new lot of cars but the older i-Drive systems don't have it.

BMW is now offering an Apple CarPlay update for the older i-Drive system for Rs. 90,000/- in India. The cars which don't have the Apple CarPlay system were launched before 2018. Post 2018, almost all the BMWs being offered in India are getting Apple CarPlay connectivity.
