The new middle-weight GS adventure models will feature new 853cc engines.

BMW showed its F750 GS and F850 GS at the EICMA motorcycle show in Italy. The new bikes look sharper, feature new technology, are fitted with a new monocoque frame and are powered by a bigger 853cc engine. BMW Motorrad will launch both of these bikes in India at the Auto Expo next year.

The new 853cc motor is tuned differently on both bikes. It makes 77hp and 83Nm in the F750, and 85hp and 92Nm in the F850. The F750 GS and F850 GS also come with ABS, ASC, and ‘Rain’ and ‘Road’ riding modes, as standard.

Other equipment that’s available as an option include full-LED lighting and a multi-functional instrument cluster. Both bikes will come to India as CBUs and should be priced competitively.
