BMW X3 Facelift deliveries are expected to begin from second week of January 2022

BMW unveiled the facelifted version of X3 by the middle of this year. As per a media report, it is being speculated that the updated SUV might go on sale by the second week of January 2022. Talking about the 2022 BMW X3, it comes with a host of exterior and interior changes. 

In terms of design, the car gets a more aggressive look. It boasts of a bold front bumper with wide air inlets. In addition, it features a kidney grille that is large in size in comparison to what was present on the outgoing model. Other changes include flatter full-LED headlights, a new front apron, roof rails finished in aluminium, and raised underbody protection. The rear end of the vehicle has also been revised with larger exhaust pipes and narrow lights. The X3 facelift will further be offered in M Sport trim. Having said that, the SUV will get a mesh kidney grille with black gloss surrounds.

Moving inside the cabin of the BMW X3 facelift, it comes equipped with a host of features. These include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Apple Carplay & Android Auto connectivity, latest generation iDrive connected technology, among many others. 

Performance-wise, we can expect the X3 facelift to get the same engine options as its predecessor. Currently, the X3 is offered with two engine options. The 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine churns out a top power of 248 bhp and a peak torque of 350 Nm. While the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine delivers 188 bhp power and 400 Nm peak torque. Both engines come mated to an 8-speed gearbox.
