BMW X3 Luxury Edition Diesel Launched at Rs 65.50 Lakhs

The new BMW X3 xDrive20d will be locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai

BMW India has launched the X3 diesel at a sticker price of Rs 65.50 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being introduced as Luxury Edition, the new BMW X3 xDrive20d will be locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai. It will be available at the company authorized dealerships from today onwards in addition to the two petrol variants which were launched last month in the Indian market in a price range of Rs 59.90-65.90 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India). The SUV locks horns with the likes of Mercedes GLE and Audi Q5 in India.


BMW X3 Luxury Edition will be available in six metallic paintworks namely Mineral White, Phytonic Blue, Brooklyn Grey, Sophisto Grey, Black Sapphire and Carbon Black. The cabin is offered in a Sensatec Perforated dual-tone Canberra Beige and Cognac upholstery. Some of the notable features in the SUV include Adaptive LED headlights with Matrix function, Multi-function Sport Steering Wheel, Electrical seat adjustment with memory function, Panoramic glass roof, Welcome Light Carpet, Ambient Lighting, 3-zone automatic climate control, BMW Gesture Control, Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, 12.3-inch screen instrument cluster and 464W Harman Kardon Surround Sound system 16 speakers.

The 2022 BMW X3 Luxury Edition is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo diesel engine which develops top power of 187 bhp and peak torque of 400 Nm. The engine is linked to an 8-speed Steptonic automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters as standard. It touches the 100kmph mark from standstill in merely 7.9 seconds while clocking a top speed of 213kmph. The company is offering an attractive 360˚ financial plan with ‘drive away monthly price’ of Rs 79,999/-, assured buyback of up to 60 percent and flexible end of term options. The SUV also comes with optional BMW Repair Inclusive that extends warranty benefits from third year of operation to maximum sixth year, after the completion of the standard two-year warranty period.
